Project Details
A replacement water monitoring well was required by the Environment Agency as the original had silted up.
C&J Geotechnical Services won the contract and installed the well to the required depth despite the presence of a “paramoudas” , a cylindrical (1.0mtr diameter) inclusion of flint some 4.0mtrs in thickness , C&J changed the drilling technique to overcome these conditions and installed the well in just over the expected timescale.
